What we are involved in:
Each year the guild participates in various events. Some events are chosen to showcase and sell our creations. Others are chosen as a way of giving back to the community. Any funds raised help operate the guild or are donated to local non-profits, such as the Summerland Food Bank.
Some events we participate in include:
- Summerland Seasons Sparkles
- Penticton Art Gallery Soup Bowl Project
- Summerland Ornamental Gardens Spring Sale
- Collaborations with other artists to present various shows and events at the Summerland Art Gallery
- Volunteering to host summer kids programs and firing pottery for various seniors programs in our community.
The guild also contributes to various community art displays such as the wall murals at the Ornamental gardens, City Hall and the Art Gallery.
